My Gears over the past times
my simple setup for walk around
I don’t really talk so much about my gear, but here’s what i use to capture pictures and my works. (images and more detailed experience soon)
I used film cameras starting from Canon Eos 1 and Nikon F90x, thats where i learn photography at the first place. When the digital era came in, Canon s90 pocket camera is getting on my hand everywhere i go.
Nikon D70s is my first Digital SLR camera i ever use, torture it up for learning, hunting and experimenting until the sensor has giving up on me. So i traded it out cheaply with Nikon D80 at my partners store. D80 is a jump overall from D70s in terms of quality, colors, and functionality. Stepping up forward.. Nikon D300s gives me amazing action and studio tools to work with.
Canon 7D is the workhorse camera, i traded it out from Nikon because of its video functionality which fills a thousand gap between them… (at those times). Canon 60D serves as my backup camera and mainly used in video, The tilt screen is more than help in any situation. I sold 7D and then bought Canon 6D wifi and gets me wondering why i didn’t made the switch sooner… overall my 6D is a better performer. The Canon lens that i use today is 10-22mm, 17-55mm, 24-70mm mk1, 18-200mm, 70-200mm, and primes collection 50mm 1.8 & 1.4, 28mm 1.8, 100mm 2.8.
Other than those whole big camera that i took around for work and projects, i had my little tiny camera on my hands called panasonic gx 1 and olympus ep 5.
Complement those nice camera with kit lenses 14-42x, 20mm 1.7, 45mm 1.8, 45-200mm fill my needs for simple and daily projects..
If we’re talking about lighting (yes the important one) to make it simple that i’m a flash or strobist user and a fan of old semi manual flashes… yes old cheap flashes with great power… gathered for up to 5 flashes with broad range of accessories (stand, umbrella, soft-box, etc.).
