Mount Puntang located in the area south of Bandung-West java, Indonesia. It is a strategic area for camping, good for adventure, or simply for hanging around to feel the atmosphere of forests, air, river and mountains.

1923-Dutch colonial rule build the largest radio station with 2km antenna that attached between Mount Puntang and Mount Halimun, the broadcast could be heard from Dutch colonial thousand of miles away from Indonesia.

It needs huge amount of electricity so Dutch colonial build water based power plant in several places (Dago, Dayeuh Kolot, and Pangalengan), also there is a facility such as house for workers, swimming pool, sports, and movies.

But now the condition of the station is only remaining debris, covered by untreated bushes. The destruction caused due to several factors, one source said the site was destroyed because it is suspected to be a place for a spy in the age of war. People who came here feels a little bit of disappointment because of this site condition. It could be treated well.. It has a huge historical amount, but there is too much less information about Malabar radio station.
